Rocky von Rhyss is a gorgeous 3 year old German Shepherd. If there were a magazine for German Shepherds, this handsome, classic hunk would be on the cover. Rocky is a confident boy who walks amazingly on leash despite his size and loves to explore and meet new people. He loves receiving attention during walks (he is quite accustomed to it) but can be pushy when meeting new dogs. Our kennel techs describe Rocky as a “gentle giant.” He can stand next to you for hours -- that is how sweet and patient he is. He just swoons when you pet him from head to tail and might rest his face in your hands. Rocky adores his humans and anyone would be proud to have him as a sidekick. In his playgroup, Rocky enters confidently and establishes himself as the alpha. He likes other calm, mellow dogs and will warn a dominant dog away. His playgroup had three active males who were running around him and he did not mind at all. Rocky is most likely housebroken and hopes you will fill out an application for him – he knows he can make all your dreams come true.
